Tomasz Napierala (University of Lodz) Since 2011 he has been employed as Assistant Professor at the Institute of Urban Geography and Tourism Studies. His scientific interests are in tourism management and tourism economics, especially in spatial volatility of hotel prices, revenue management and spatial competition analysis in hotel industry. His role in the project: He is a project leader. Due to the fact that the project is carried out by a small team, he involves in all the merit and promotional activities. He uses his experience in managing various research projects. He is co-author of English scientific articles which are the key results of the project.
Christian Hustad Krogh (Lillehammer University College) He has focused his research on further education, innovation and tourism. At the Department of Tourism, he is responsible for courses in economics, snow business, accounting, strategy and innovation management. His role in the project: He coordinates all the project’s actions undertaken by Lillehammer University College. He prepares lectures and workshops for participants of project’s events. He is co-author of English scientific articles which are the key results of the project.
Katarzyna Lesniewska (University of Lodz) For five years she has cooperated with the Faculty of Geographical Sciences as a PhD student. She has focused her research on both spatial economy and political geography, in particular on national minorities. Her role in the project: She is responsible for financial and accounting settlement of the project. She cares about transparency and dissemination of information on financial and accounting matters. Furthermore, she supervises the functioning of the project website. She conducts all the promotional activities, in particular public relations and social media, she is responsible for contacts with the media. She is co-author of English scientific articles which are the key results of the project.
Terje Onshus (Lillehammer University College) For several years he has been employed as Program Director at the Department of Tourism. He has focused his research on consumer expenditure analyses and analyses of the economic effects of tourism. He is responsible for courses in economics. His role in the project: He is responsible for consultation of the merit results of the project. He prepares lectures and workshops for participants of project’s events. He is co-author of English scientific articles which are the key results of the project.
Even Tjorve (Lillehammer University College) He is a professor at the Faculty of Economics and Organisation. He has focused his research on diverse themes as tourism, biogeography, macroecology, GIS and other quantitative tools. His role in the project: He coordinates consultation of the merit results of the project. He prepares lectures and workshops for participants of project’s events. He is co-author of English scientific articles which are the key results of the project.
Bogdan Wlodarczyk (University of Lodz) For several years he has been employed as Associated Professor and the Director of the Institute of Urban Geography and Tourism Studies. His research interests are in tourism geography and tourism destination management. His role in the project: He is the chairman of the 24HOURS competition jury. He is co-author of English scientific articles which are the key results of the project.
